PURPOSE OF SERVICE
Integrative design, value engineering project and design validation for mechanical, electrical and special plant engineering systems, as well as works supervision, testing and commissioning as part of the fit-out works for the new Boehringer Ingheleim Italia S.p.A. offices located at the new "Symbiosis” building complex - Building D - Scalo di Porta Romana in Milan, Italy.
HIGHLIGHTS
The new offices occupy the top three floors of Building D, plus a lobby and a multi-purpose area on the ground floor. Before starting the design stage, we value-engineered the existing project, which allowed us to identify the measures required to achieve technical improvements and cost reductions.
Based on this study, suitable modifications and additions were made to the original project, which was then validated as for its unchanged portions, which allowed us to achieve the results expected by the client.
It should be noted that the building, and thus also the facilities involved, have successfully undergone the LEED and WELL certification processes.
